1889 listed with wife and (probably) brother Sam on passenger list of Adriatic; Liverpool/Queenstown to NY. Date and ages are correct although Tom’s profession is listed as clerk. 86 Scan of travel route April 26-May 3 1889 is in file. 87

NOTES
Witnesses to wedding were Ambrose and Emma Barker (Annie’s brother and sister-in-law).

There is some evidence that Tom had worked in the NYC area before returning to England to marry Hannah. His immigration date in the 1920 census record is 1888 while Hannah’s is 1889. There is also a photo of him in the file from a Yonkers, NY photographic studio that looks as though it was sent or given to Hannah before they married. However, there doesn’t seem to be an entry for an 1888 trip in the NY Passengers List database (scanned all W entries for 1888).
