HIGHLIGHTS
- The
meeting is intended to be a forum for discussions of concepts, issues,
and methods by leading researchers in the fundamental problems of
granular computing in an atmosphere intended to promote the exchange
of ideas and viewpoints.
- The
meeting will last 3 days.
- Attendance
will be open primarily to those submitting accepted papers, but we
also expect some participants from local IEEE chapters and students
from universities (Stanford University, UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz,
San Jose State University, University of Santa Clara, and etc).
- In
each morning, there will be a one-hour keynote presentation to all the
audience.
- Call
for paper will be disseminated through, but not limited to, multiple
channels (send to audiences in the previous granular computing, rough
sets and data mining conference, mailing lists such as kdnugget mailing list, machine learning lists,
db-world list, distribute CFP fly in related conference).
- All
papers will be reviewed by at least 3 PC committee members or external
expert reviewers.
- All
papers will be included in the CD-form published by IEEE press.
- Keynote
speakers will be paid their travel and lodging expenses (subject to
customary CIS and CompS limits and
regulations). All other participants will be required to pay, in
advance, a registration fee covering meeting expenses and publication
costs.
