*****
Here are some ruminations about George [Hawley] Price, his mother Frances Hawley and her parents, George Hawley and Frances Stretch (later Frances Palfreyman). These have not yet all been captured as census and BMD records.

1850 probable marriage of George HAWLEY & Frances STRETCH (Jun 1850 Nottingham 15 959) which may be the Frances HAWLEY who is listed as George's grandmother in the 1891 census. It looks like a second marriage for George because in
o 1851 George and Frances HAWLEY are listed in Nottingham St. Mary's with children Harriet (10), George ( 8 ), & William ( 6 )
o 1861 George and Frances have a huge family including daughter Frances (6)

1869 probable marriage of William PALFREYMAN & Frances HAWLEY (Sep 1869 Nottingham 7b 279) and thus
o 1871 the younger HAWLEY children (including Frances 16 and Harry 7) are living with William and Frances PALFREYMAN along with two PALFREYMAN sons and a boarder (Charlotte Schofield). Harry Hawley, wife and daughter are living in Palfreyman household along with George Price in 1891.

1873 probable marriage of Robert PRICE married Frances HAWLEY (Mar 1873 Nottingham 7b 285)--a year or more after the probable birth of George [Hawley] Price. 1881 census has George Hawley living with Robert & Frances Price & brother Robert.
