PUTTERS

Entrepreneurial
Our app is designed to track putts made by golfers on various putting greens and make suggestions to optimize future putts using statistics.
According to 18Birdies.com the average golfer takes at least 40 putts per round. The easiest way to reduce your score is to reduce the average number of putts taken at each hole. We aim to do just that by creating an app that's able to see the optimal putt to a particular hole. Utilizing iPhone 12’s cameras and LIDAR sensor, the app would project an augmented reality overlay similar to those seen in TV coverage of professional golf.

Using computer vision, the app would track each putt to provide analytics and other important criteria to help golfers improve and measure their putting consistency over time. The app is designed to help golfers make their putts and assist them in making future putts by giving suggestions. Additionally, golf coaches can measure their teams putting ability over the season. The app tracks statistics made by each golfer, with putting sessions where golfers can see each individual sessions, loaded with statistics of their putts.
