Bug-themed roguelike strategy game
The gaming and entertainment industry has been continuously growing as digital devices become more and more integrated into our daily lives. This growth has led to another boom in the player base for these games as they have continued to expand from just PC to all kinds of console and mobile forms. However, some genres can become stale due to repetitive aspects or are just copy and pasted versions of previous years. Vivarium aims to bring a new experience to the roguelike and strategy genres by being different. Player decisions are made on their turn where they have infinite time and no enemy interruptions, levels are complete once a player unit lands on an escape tile and all objectives are completed, and if all your characters die, game over. By randomly generating levels, weapons, and other aspects of the game, each experience is bound to feel like a brand new one compared to the last.
