A web application to estimate the cost of a 3D printing job.
Now that humanity is well into the Silicon Age, many companies use automated, online services to provide details and prices for their products, giving customers unprecedented ease and speed of access to this information. However, not all services are so easily automated, and some, like quoting the cost of a 3D printing job, can still require calculations by a real person, creating what is now perceived as a significant delay in service. Rectifying this disconnect is the purpose of Slice and Price: to provide an automated, online service capable of providing customers a fast, reliable way to get an estimate for the cost of 3D printing their parts with American Additive Manufacturing. This software gives potential customers the ability to upload many design files, choose the materials for each, and get an estimated breakdown of the prices of each individual part and the total cost for the batch.
