IT/Computer Security
CyWeb empowers users to take control of their cyber security career path. Try it for yourself at: https://iasim.github.io/Spyder/home-page.html
The field of cybersecurity contains many types of work roles including forensics analysts, ethical hackers, incident responders, and many more. The National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) provides a framework for mapping work roles to tasks, skills, knowledge and abilities. However, college students are often not aware of the various types of cybersecurity roles or how their curriculum maps to the cybersecurity roles.

CyWeb provides students, faculty and others a way to determine which cybersecurity roles Drexel classes have prepared students for and which classes can prepare students for a certain type of role. CyWeb uses data modeling, semantic web technologies such as ontologies, and natural language processing (NLP) in order to collect, manipulate, and visualize data in an understandable and helpful way to students, faculty and others.
