Marketplace platform to enable creative, in-person freelancing gigs.
With the advent of remote work software, there has been a drastic change in how work gets done in modern times. Since 2014, there has been an estimated addition of 10M+ freelancers in the marketplace (totaling up to 53M in numbers), bringing up $1.4T worth annually in 2017.

There has been an ever-increasing number of marketplaces that support individual, contract-based freelance work. However, there is also an underserved community of creative people alienated from this growth: Photographers, creative beauty artists, tattoo artists, hairdressers, and an overall niche of people who can’t do remote work but would benefit tremendously from freelancing.

The current marketplaces have too many problems: Fragmented services, friction in payment processing, and poor optimization for contract work. We will create a new marketplace platform focused on reducing friction, improving UX, and facilitating digital payments instead of the cash-based marketplaces of yesterday.
