TAT

TAT is a machine-learning based analysis tool that detects Political Propaganda Bots on the Twitter Platform.
The impact that malicious Propaganda Twitter Bots, or automated Twitter accounts intent on appearing to be real, human Twitter Users, have had on worldwide democratic elections is now an indisputable fact. Malicious and benign actors infiltration of hot-button, timely issues has a well documented history across the globe now (CNN: Twitter Bots Double Ahead of Swedish 2018 Elections).

TAT is a third-party Twitter Analysis Tool to help study these bots. It takes a User-supplied Hashtag, retrieves recent posts containing that hashtag, and utilizes machine learning models to automatically detect potential bots.

We then generate a list of these suspected tweets that Users can click on to be linked to the Twitter profile. This allows human users to verify a flagged tweet before submitting it for further evaluation by Twitter.
