Crowds

Project Title "There are about 3,700 local bars and restaurants in the city of Philadelphia. Many of these independent businesses fail to compete with large chains and franchises due to lack of resources in marketing and outreach. Some of them do not even know who their customers are. Without the infrastructure of a corporation, businesses turn to social media marketing which yields little engagement and return on investment. Conversely, many of their customers are looking to save time and money. These customers also hate wasting their valuable time waiting in lines at a bar or restaurant."

"Crowds is a marketing platform that bridges that gap between local bar and restaurant owners and their customers. Using the Crowds app, bar and restaurant owners can promote their businesses by marketing general business information, menu items, crowd status and, most importantly, deals and promotions to entice customers to visit their establishment."
