ASLive Translator

Project Title "ASLive Translator offers a real-time translation of American Sign Language (ASL) gestures to English text via a mobile application. In order to be available to as many people as possible, ASLive supports both iOS and Android mobile devices. The driving purpose behind ASLive is to facilitate communication between deaf people and non-deaf people and make it as seamless as possible."

"ASLive utilizes machine learning and artificial intelligence hand recognition to identify a live stream of ASL gestures to translate it into grammatically correct English. We will accomplish this by sending a video of the person signing ASL gestures to our web server where, using trained neural network models, we will process the signs and translate them to English text."
