2017-2018 Senior Project - Smart Security
Life in the city provides more job and social opportunities especially for millennials but one of the downsides of living in the city is an increase in crime rate. The majority of people living in the city are people who rent and the apartments usually do not include a security alarm system which is a major deterrent to break-ins.
Smart Security aims to solve this problem with an affordable, multifunctional, and transportable security alarm system that utilizes a smart home device (Google Home). The usage of a smart home device with a smartphone will allow users to monitor their home wherever they are.
