Line2Line Coatings is a private company that produces and applies a proprietary powder coating to various engine components, including pistons, rotors, and turbos. These coatings increase the efficiency and power of engines they are applied to. As the company continues to grow and evolve, they have run into administrative and operational efficiency problems. They find it difficult to maintain their project queue with traditional paper filing methods.
Line2Line Cloud is a software system that attempts to provide a more streamlined operational flow and project organization. As orders and other intra-company projects arise, they are entered into the Line2Line Cloud system and tracked through the operational process. Using a barcode scanning system, employees log time against projects as they flow through the process. Data collected from system usage will allow for analytics, opening up a new line of actionable data to Line2Line Coatings management.
