Deciding what to wear can be a tedious task. It is hard to visualize what items go well with each other and to remember what combinations have been worn in the past. While artificial intelligence has been used to come up with outfit combinations in the marketplace, the technology is not available for users to apply this on their own closet.
Awear applies artificial intelligence to create daily outfits for the user. It allows users to upload photos of their clothing, which is then classified image recognition and stored in their mobile closet. The app suggests possible outfit combinations based on colors, patterns and categories set by the user. The user is then able to modify suggestions or swipe for more outfits. Awear keeps track of the outfit combinations that have been chosen by the user, preventing them from repeating outfits too often.
