2017-2018 Senior Project - Advisor AI
Many students can often be confused about their degrees, minors and in that confusion usually sub-optimally plan their coursework. Academic advisers have to deal with a multitude of students facing their unique problems that are rooted in the same cause. This can lead to advisers being overworked and not able to help each student efficiently. ADVISOR AI's goal is to make this confusing process more comfortable for the students and their academic advisors. ADVISOR AI gives the tools to the students and their advisors to plan their desired degree, check for minors and majors available to them. It will highlight holes in their existing study plans or account for student completed courses to tailor study plans to individual student needs and will help improve student-advisor communication.
