2016-2017 Senior Project - Mentii
“To teach is to learn twice” - Joseph Joubert
This is the experience mentors have when tutoring someone. The goal of developing Mentii is to recreate this experience for individuals who may not have the opportunity to tutor someone else. Mentii works by simulating a student working through algebra problems step by step; and by asking the user for guidance along the way. Occasionally while working through a problem, Mentii will make mistakes that the user of the system can identify and correct. Through this process, Mentii seeks to be a system used by students to reinforce their understanding of subjects.
