2016-2017 Senior Project - Project Title

Project Title The connection between technology and art is an important facet of software. With emphasis on functional and beautiful UX design, as well as the exponential rise of the video game industry, art continues to shape the future of technology. The Jam Canvas team is developing an algorithm that converts an audio input in real-time into responsive digital visuals that can be viewed on a computer or projected onto a wall for an interactive experience. In essence, JamCanvas is an audio visualizer that takes elements of the audio and transforms them into a structured moving digital painting of familiar images. The user will be able to watch the canvas change in relation to the music as the song progresses in real time.

Example of End Result

General idea of what final result will look like. Jam Canvas will create a moving cityscape that is generated based on the music playing. Once our rendering code is complete, an actual image of our cityscapes will be place here instead of this stock photo.

Interface Wireframe

This is what our main interface is planned to look like. Jam Canvas will be an easy to use product that can be utilized by anyone. Once the interface is actually coded, a screenshot of it will be placed here instead of this wireframe design.
