Senior population is growing and so is the health care cost. According to Administration of Community Living, there are 46.2 million person 65 years or older, and predication shows there will be 98 million senior by 2060. Kaiser Family Foundation reported a study in 2009 showing seniors group has the highest average spending per person per year in health care, $9744, among all age groups. That is a staggering $460 billion annual spending on senior health care alone. Moreover, this spending will be more than doubled by 2060 with the population increase.

Great Catch is a possible solution to this health care crisis. Great Catch provides continous and automatic health monitoring by gathering wearable device data and statistically analyzing these data. Any abnormal data trends will be alerted to designated person, so proper actions can be taken early on. Ultimately, health care spending will be significantly decreased.
