A huge factor in deciding what college you choose to attend after high school is getting a taste of life on a college campus. Universities are aware of this and go to great lengths to accommodate the need for prospective students to visit their campus and have a good first impression, such as offering student ambassador led tours and other events for prospective students to attend. One problem that some universities face is accommodations for out of town students. One solution to this problem is instead of making the student physically visit the school they’re interested in, you bring the school to them. In the last couple of years VR technology has exploded. It is now common enough that anyone with an internet connection and a computer or smart phone can view it. Our project aims to leverage VR technology and create a Virtual Reality tour of Drexel University’s main campus.
