Traveling Support for Doctoral Students to Attend ICHI 2013

We are glad to announce that the IEEE International Conference on Healthcare Informatics 2013 (ICHI 2013) receives a NSF grant to provide a limited number of traveling supports to subsidize registration, travel and accommodation expenses for doctoral students who attend the conference. ICHI 2013 features three keynote speeches, parallel sessions, poster sessions, tutorial, panel, doctoral consortium, and workshops.  More details about the conference can be found at http://cci.drexel.edu/ICHI2013/.

All traveling supports require the students attending the 3-day conference; in particular, the recipients must attend the doctoral consortium.  (Submission to the doctoral consortium is not required but encouraged.)  Doctoral students receiving these supports are required to agree to serve as student helpers for a half day during the conference. Tasks may include checking in attendees, preparing registration packages, or assisting with the conference sessions. The supports will be offered as reimbursements of the expanses after the conference dates.

Application Due: July 29, 2013.
