1851 Rhoda (29) is working as a servant at the Vicarage, Wymeswold, Leicestershire. 195 Her birthplace is given as “North Newbald” which is a village in Yorkshire. Name is mistranscribed “Kickland.”

NOTES:
Moorhouse gives surname as “Kirtland” but Wymeswold Parish Registry and 1851 census have it as Kirkland. Kirkland (and Kirtland) were not Wymeswold families although there are others of that surname in Leicestershire.
