CENSUS INFORMATION
In 1841 census, Thomas was living with parents Thomas and Sarah on Clay st., Wymeswold.
69In 1851 census, Thomas (45) is recorded as head of household, living with parents Thomas (75) and Sarah (78) and niece Sarah Wootton (20)
13In 1861 census , Thomas (55) is head of household, living with father Thomas (86) and niece Sarah Wootton (30).
14In 1871 census , Thomas (66) is head of household, living on Swift’s Lane with (grand) niece Eliza Wootton (11) (illegitimate daughter of Hannah Wootton)
151In 1881 census , Thomas (70) is head of household, living on Swifts Lane, Wymeswold, with sister-in law Sarah (74) (widow of Samuel Wootton), (grand) niece Eliza (21), and (grand) nephew Tom (15) (son of William and Betsy Wootton). Thomas’ age is given as 70, which is probably 5-6 years younger than he really was.

NOT recorded in transcribed parish register, apparently, and not in IGI listings. He’s almost certainly the son of Thomas and Sarah based on family census clues. Thomas never married, apparently., but lived with parents and then with other family members. Sarah Wootton (daughter of Samuel and Sarah) listed as niece and Eliza Wootton (illegitemate daughter of Hannah) and Thomas (son of William and Betsy) listed as niece and nephew but they were grand-niece and grand-nephew.
GRO death certificate consistent-- Eliza (niece) in attendance. Tom described as “Grazier” which probably means farmer at this point (he was 77).
