About AIG

Our Experience

AIG has developed, tested, and deployed a multitude of critical information technologies to support the mission needs of the United States Department of Defense, Federal Aviation Administration, and others. Our team has a track record of over 20 continuous years of basic research support by the National Science Foundation. Collectively, AIG has well over one hundred person-years of advanced R&D experience, contributing key technologies to over $250 million in funded programmatic activities during its decades-long track record of partnership with corporations and government entities.

Our Team

AIG comprises the talents of ten full-time technical faculty and staff members and over a dozen graduate and undergraduate research assistants; as well as the contributions of many collaborating faculty members across Drexel University.

Our History

Formerly part of the A.J. Drexel Applied Communications and Information Networking Institute (ACIN) (2001-2010), AIG was established in 2011 as the major applied research center for the College of Computing & Informatics at Drexel University.
