Collaborative Research: Mitigating Disaster and Terrorism Impacts to Critical Infrastructure

This is a collaborative project involving researchers at Drexel University, Arizona State University and the University of Missouri that is focused on the development and application of spatial optimization approaches to support planning and management of network infrastructure. At Drexel University, the project is directed by Tony H. Grubesic encompasses management and processing of spatial information associated with network based infrastructure as well as the development of mathematical models designed to address vulnerability issues. This includes mathematical optimization model extensions to account for temporal change as well as recovery planning.

This project is funded by the National Science Foundation
