The Association represents and serves the Alumni of the former
Drexel University College of Information Science and Technology.
The purpose of the Association is to strengthen the alumni's
relationship with ISTA in order to serve and advance the interests
of the graduates and the College. The Association wishes to
maintain an interest in recruiting qualified individuals into
information and knowledge related professions, to raise funds for
scholarships, and to promote mentoring, continuing education,
professional development, and leadership.
ISTA fulfills its mission by periodically sponsoring
events to bring alumni together for networking, learning, and
socializing; by presenting cash awards to ISTA graduates in
recognition of outstanding academic achievement and service; and by
supporting the John B. Hall Scholarship, Tom Childers Award, Diana
Woodward Award and the ISTA Scholarship Fund Award which provides
master's students with scholarships.
