The following are options through which CCI graduate students
may offset the cost of their degrees.
The Dean's Fellowship award is available to
Masters students based on merit. Students with a 3.7 or higher
cumulative GPA from a completed undergraduate or graduate degree
will be granted a $250 reduction per graduate credit. Students
comply with an understanding form that must be completed in order
to keep the award. Drexel University offers this award to full time
(on campus or online) applicants.
Currently, CCI also offers this award to part time (on campus or

MS(LIS), MSIS and MSHI students can be awarded up to three
courses (9 credits) for relevant, professional-level work
experience related to the degree being pursued. More information

Partner Organization Discount
Every student in a master's program or graduate level
certificate program at CCI may be the
recipient a partner discount. Drexel Pro is an
educational partnership program. If you are a member of a partner
organization, you could benefit from tuition reductions that range
from 10-20% off the regular Drexel University tuition rate.
Examples of participating organizations include: The American
Library Association, ASIS&T, RN.com and WebJunction. More

CCI has several scholarships for master's level students which
range in monetary value, typically with them being lower than the
Partner discount (20%). The amount is not released until the
scholarship is awarded. Any scholarship given will be applied for
the Winter term in which it was awarded. Applications for

For all federal need-based aid programs please complete the Free Application for Federal Student
Aid (FAFSA) and list Drexel school code - 003256.

available. Students must be enrolled for a minimum of two classes
to qualify for federal financial aid.
GI Bill for Veterans
The GI Bill is for veterans who served on continuous active duty
for at least 181 days beginning January 31, 1955 or later and/or
for dependents of veterans who died or are permanently disabled as
a result of service in the armed forces.

details. VA students must certify their GI Bill benefits by
completing the certification
Yellow Ribbon Program
Through this program, a partnership between the federal
government and Drexel, the University matches the government's
contribution to the cost of an education, allowing eligible
veterans to attend Drexel with no out-of-pocket expenses. To

There is a 30% Post-Master's Specialist Program Discount for CCI
(formerly of The iSchool, College of Information Science &
Technology) Alumni. In addition, alumni can register as
non-matriculated students in our online courses at a 50% discount.
Only two successfully completed courses can be transferred into any
other CCI master's or certificate program. Alumni may take up to
